He was appointed to the American Institute of CPAs’ Practice and Procedures Committee for the 2015-16 committee year. His professional leadership roles include serving on the Board of Directors of the Texas Society of CPAs, serving as chairman of the Relations with IRS Committee and as member of the Ethics Committee of the Texas Society of CPAs.
Joseph continues to publish articles on issues such as taxation, estate valuation, and foreign asset disclosure. His article Will your next tax appeal be a videoconference? was published in AICPA’s The Tax Adviser and featured in the October 2016 CPA Letter Daily.
Joseph has extensive expertise and experience advising clients who are buying or selling a business. He was among the first in the country elected to the elite Ambassadors Editorial Board of the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts. He has been a board member of their Ethics Oversight Board and served on their QuickRead Editorial Board.
He is active in the North Texas business community, having served on various boards, including the City of Dallas Permits and Licenses Appeal Board, Consolidated Economic Development Board, and Love Field Economic Development Board.
